Parents and Citizens Associations are established under the Education Act for the purpose of supporting a strong government school system for the benefit of all the students. All parents and community members are invited to be involved.
Harvey Senior High School has an active P&C Association with a membership of parents, staff and interested community members.
The functions of our P&C are to:
- support our children in their educational journey within Harvey Senior High School
- develop positive parent relationships through parent participation and involvement in the school
- be the forum for parents to discuss issues pertaining to the school and its community and for gathering opinions
- promote and support communication and co-operation within the school community and to bring educational matters to the attention of the wider community
- raise funds to provide extra resources and amenities for the benefit of our Harvey Senior High School students
Meetings are held twice each term, in Weeks 4 and 8, either face-to-face or via Webex. The school principal attends these meetings and is an avid supporter of the P&C. Meetings are informal, inclusive and fun – everyone is welcome.
Please refer to the Term Calendar for meeting dates.
We have faced challenging years with the effects of COVID-19 on our school community and we’re now looking forward to potentially being in a position to fundraise to assist the school in completing exciting new school projects.
Keep an eye out for notifications from us.
